Today's Prompt:  PATH

GO

Life is a journey—a winding road with twists and turns.  Sometimes it’s hard to see where the path is leading and fear and uncertainty fill my heart with dread.

What should I do? Where am I to go?

I’m bombarded with decisions and questions and worries that torture my heart. Through valleys and rugged terrain the path stretches on.  The unknown of what lies ahead brings fear and an anxious spirit.

But then I hear it.

His voice which gently whispers, Trust in me with all your heart, stop trying to figure it out on your own for I AM the One directing Your path.

As He speaks my heart fills with hope. His words bring comfort. He is my Peace.

Then I rest.

In His promise.

In Him.

STOP

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  {Proverbs 3:5,6}

    5. Rachel,Proverbs 3:5-6 was on my mind all day yesterday, too. The Lord also brought two other verses to mind: I Peter 5:7 - "Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you," and Psalm 55:22 - "Cast thy burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." What wonderful promises the Lord has given us in His Word!

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

      Love, Mom
