In the journey of raising a child with special needs, there is a lot to teach.
But there is even more to learn.
Along the way you pour your heart into teaching your child with your desire for them to learn the necessary, the important. Until one day, you realize that you have almost missed the most significant lesson of all.
There have been times I’ve missed the obvious, times which caused me to realize that often I am the one who struggles most to learn.
Times I have been the one unable to see.
Will you take a moment to discover How My Daughter Taught Me to See? I’m guest posting over at the Different Dream* website today and I’d love for you to hop on over there to check it out!
What about you? What lesson have you learned recently through your child? I’m interested in hearing about the journey of your life, so feel free to comment!
*I enjoy the privilege to guest post regularly over at the Different Dream website, a gathering place for parents of special needs children, started and run by author, Jolene Philo.
